Where Every OUBO Begins

When people see a finished OUBO, they often notice the design first.

The colors.
The patterns.
The personality.

But every OUBO begins long before the first brushstroke.

This is one of those moments.

A quiet moment where the sculpture is still taking shape. Where I'm focused on every curve, every surface, every small detail that most people will never notice—but will always experience.

I believe the foundation of a sculpture is just as important as the artwork that will eventually cover it.

Many hours are spent preparing each piece before it is ever ready to receive color. It isn't the most glamorous part of the process, but it is one of the most important.

This stage reminds me to slow down.

To respect the process.

To remember that beautiful things are rarely rushed.

The OUBO you will eventually see is still hidden inside this form.

For now, it remains a promise.
